LEVERKUSEN, GERMANY - OCTOBER 7, 2008 - Momentive Performance Materials Inc. (the “Company”) today appear that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Momentive Performance Materials Quartz, Inc., has acquired assertive assets of the semiconductor and lighting quartz articles business of Osram Sylvania Products Inc.
